Problem
The unit needed a distinctive visual identity that could translate its character into a clear, recognizable military patch.
Solution
A bold visual identity designed around the unit’s role and adapted for embroidery and real-world use. The final design was selected over proposals from other designers and adopted by the unit.

Defining the visual language
I researched the unit’s role, existing military visual language and production requirements to define the symbols, colors and structure of the patch.

Designed for its real environment
The identity was designed to remain recognizable on a military uniform, balancing a strong silhouette, clear symbolism and visibility from a distance.

Built to become a real patch
The design was adapted for embroidery and physical production, keeping the graphic language clear despite the limitations of thread, fabric and scale.
Selected and Accepted
My proposal was selected from among the other options submitted and accepted by the department.
